For the Young at Heart…

In my opinion one of the most underrated forms of literature is children’s literature. I believe that just because a book is aimed at a younger audience does not necessarily mean that it cannot also be a fulfilling read for adults as well. Those books can be especially refreshing because after reading literature that have cynical or even dystopian themes, a well written children’s book can be a well needed source of optimism and hope. This is why I’ve decided to include links to just a few of my favorite  books from childhood below:

  1. A Whole Nother Story
  2. The Chronicles of Narnia
  3. The Prydain Chronicles
  4. A Wrinkle in Time
  5. The Hobbit
  6. Anne of Green Gables
  7. Junie B. Jones
  8. Chasing Vermeer
  9. Peter and the Star-catchers
  10. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane
